Students will learn new skills for improving their writing by:
- Mastering the skill of essay writing
- Formulating a thesis statement
- Shaping a subject
- Planning & organizing an essay
- Developing strong paragraphs
- Arranging & connecting details
- Utilizing effective brainstorming methods
- Receiving teacher feedback on every assignment, and
- Being evaluated on writing strengths/weakness and taught strategies for improvement
